Guild Open House Refer a Friend Offer – Terms & Conditions
THE OFFER
Refer a friend or family member to The Guild and, if they successfully move in for a minimum of three (3) months, you will receive either:
£1,000 worth of John Lewis/Waitrose vouchers; or
A £1,000 rent discount applied to your rent account
The referred resident must move in on or before 31 May 2026 for the offer to apply.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Eligibility
1.1 The offer is open to current residents of The Guild only.
1.2 The referrer must remain a current resident until the referred guest has completed their minimum three (3) month stay.
1.3 The referred guest must be a new resident who has not previously booked, enquired, or resided at The Guild.
1.4 The referred guest must not already be in contact with The Guild through another referral, agent, corporate agreement, or promotional arrangement.
2. Qualifying Criteria
2.1 The referred guest must sign a tenancy agreement and successfully move into The Guild on or before 31 May 2026.
2.2 The referred guest must complete a minimum continuous stay of three (3) full calendar months.
2.3 The referred guest must not be in rent arrears or in breach of their tenancy agreement during the qualifying period.
2.4 If the referred guest terminates their tenancy early, defaults on payment, or breaches their agreement within the first three months, the reward will not be issued.
3. Reward Options
3.1 The referrer may choose one of the following rewards per successful referral:
3.2 The reward will only be issued after the referred guest has successfully completed three (3) months of residence.
4. Voucher Reward
4.1 John Lewis/Waitrose vouchers will be issued electronically to the valid email address held on file for the referrer.
4.2 Vouchers will be sent within 30 days of the referred guest completing their third month of residence.
4.3 The Guild accepts no responsibility for lost, deleted, misdirected, or expired vouchers once issued.
4.4 Voucher use is subject to the terms and conditions of John Lewis and/or Waitrose.
5. Rent Discount Reward
5.1 The £1,000 rent discount will be applied to the next rent instalment due after the referred guest completes their third month.
5.2 The discount cannot be exchanged for cash.
5.3 If the remaining rent balance is less than £1,000, the discount will not exceed the outstanding balance. No cash alternative will be provided.
6. Multiple Referrals
6.1 There is no limit to the number of referrals a resident may make.
6.2 Each referral must meet all qualifying criteria independently.
6.3 Rewards will be issued separately for each qualifying referral.
7. Referral Process
7.1 The referrer must ensure their name is declared by the referred guest at the time of booking or application.
7.2 Referrals cannot be applied retrospectively after the referred guest has signed a tenancy agreement or moved in.
7.3 In the event of multiple residents referring the same individual, the reward will be issued to the person named at the time of booking.
8. General Conditions
8.1 The offer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash (except where required by law).
8.2 The Guild reserves the right to verify eligibility and refuse the reward if the terms are not met.
8.3 The Guild reserves the right to withdraw, amend, suspend, or replace this offer at any time without prior notice.
8.4 This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion unless explicitly stated.
8.5 The Guild’s decision in respect of any matter relating to this promotion is final.
