On the practical side, there are no agency fees — Morro is your landlord and manager, not a third-party agent.

One monthly payment, no hidden surprises.

For keeping active: a state-of-the-art gym with cardio machines, free weights, a squat rack, SkiErg, HIIT rower, punching bags and more. For getting work done: three floors of co-working space with open desks, call booths, lounge seating, meeting rooms for 4–12 people, a boardroom, plus tea, coffee, snacks and printing services. For winding down: communal lounges, a shared kitchen and dining area, a bookable cinema room, a bookable event space, a landscaped 3rd floor rooftop terrace.

There's also bike storage, a laundry room, on-site maintenance, 24/7 security and a resident app for managing your account and building access.

At The Altham, furnished means more than just the basics. Every studio comes ready to live in, with a double bed and pocket sprung mattress, double wardrobe, plenty of built-in storage, and a private bathroom with vanity unit.

Some layouts also come with a TV console unit and armchair.

In the kitchen, you’ll find a full-size fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, ample cupboards, and high-quality Bosch appliances throughout.

A dining table and chairs and lamps are not included as standard, these are an optional additional extra. Chat to the team if you'd like to add this into your room.

Each apartment has a lot of built in storage, but the additional furniture provision is as follows:

SS01 double, bed, tv console
SS02 double bed
SS03 double bed, tv console
SS04 double bed
SS05 double bed, tv console
SS06 double bed, armchair
SS07 murphy bed, tv console

Take a look at the available apartments module on this page, where you browse all seven available layouts (SS01–SS07), each with floor plans and pricing. You can also filter by your preferred move-in date to see which layouts are available, and view photos of each type to compare the room configuration and furniture provision.

Layouts are spread across floors 1 to 10 of the building, and some — including SS02, SS03, SS04, SS05 and SS06 — are dual aspect, meaning they benefit from more natural light.

If you have specific search criteria in mind (a particular floor, outlook or layout style), the team is on hand to help narrow it down. Listings are updated in real time, so availability shown on the site reflects what's genuinely on offer at that moment.

Standard Studios at The Altham start from around £1,700 per calendar month. When you factor in what's included — 250mb broadband, all utilities (water, gas, electricity), 24/7 concierge and access to a full suite of amenities — the all-in value compares very favourably to renting a flat in the private market, where bills are separate and can add several hundred pounds per month.

Compared to other rental properties and flats in Walthamstow and across E17, The Altham offers a more transparent and budget-friendly approach: one payment covers everything essential. There are no agency fees, no unexpected charges from a landlord or letting agent, and no surprise bills.

For people making a housing decision based on total monthly cost rather than headline rent alone, The Altham is worth considering against other listings in the area.

The Altham is suitable for everyone from working professionals to postgrad's studying in London.

For students, the all-inclusive model is particularly practical: broadband is fast (250mb), bills are included, and the co-working spaces are ideal for studying. The rolling tenancy also gives flexibility if your plans change.

Undergraduate students should get in touch with the team to discuss their specific situation and confirm eligibility. Walthamstow is also very well connected to universities across the city — UCL, King's, Goldsmiths, Queen Mary and others are all reachable via the Victoria Line and Overground in good time.

Moving in at The Altham is designed to be as straightforward as possible. Once your references, credit checks and tenancy agreement are all complete, the team will be ready to welcome you on your move-in date.

When you arrive, your studio will already be set up with your furniture, appliances and utilities connected — so the experience from day one is genuinely hassle-free. You'll be given access to the resident app, where you can manage your account, raise maintenance requests and stay up to date with building news.

Our front of house (concierge) team is on hand to help you settle in, answer any questions and point you in the right direction.

Once your application is approved and your tenancy agreement is signed, your monthly rent is due on a fixed date each month. We recommend setting up a direct debit to keep things simple and ensure you never miss a payment.

As a tenant, your responsibilities include your council tax (paid separately to the local council based on your circumstances) and any optional extras you've added, such as room cleans. Everything else — broadband, utilities, building maintenance — is handled by Morro as part of your rent.

If you ever have questions about your account, payment history or upcoming charges, the resident app and front of house team are available to help. Unlike dealing with a traditional landlord or letting agent, you always have a direct, accessible point of contact.

Every Standard Studio includes superfast 250mb Wi-Fi as part of the monthly rent — no need to set up a separate broadband account, deal with a provider or pay additional fees.

The connection is building-wide and reliable, covering your studio as well as the co-working spaces, lounges and communal areas. For people who work from home or need a fast, dependable connection for study or streaming, it's one less thing to think about from the day you move in.

Once you have completed your property search, get in touch with us to chose your studio flat and confirmed your move in date. You will also need to submit details for an affordability and credit check. We’ll need a holding deposit to make sure no one else can snap up your apartment while we process your application. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Once your application is complete, you just need to sign your lease contract. As a tenant, your rent will be due monthly, and we advise setting up a direct debit for the duration of your contract.
